At Acacia Hills, every coffee starts with where it’s grown—the cool, forested highlands of the Ngorongoro in northern Tanzania. It’s the perfect environment for varietals like Geisha, Kent, Pacamara, and SL28 to really shine. Shade grown in carefully managed microclimates, these coffees are known for their clarity, sweetness, and layered complexity.

We focus on specialty-grade varietals, each with its own distinct character:

  • Geisha – elegant and floral, with notes of citrus and berries

  • Kent – smooth and well-balanced, with bright acidity and citrus tones

  • SL28 – fruity, with depth and complexity

Our processing methods are just as important in shaping the final cup. We use washed processing for a clean, crisp profile, honey processing for a fuller, more rounded body, and natural processing to bring out bold, complex flavours.

From Cherry to Cup

Every lot and process is carefully evaluated in our on-site cupping lab. Cupping scores play a critical role throughout the harvest period, allowing us to maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency while identifying any issues at an early stage.

This rigorous approach, combined with a high level of expertise, enables us to achieve both strong productivity and consistent results, while also recognising and refining the subtle nuances that define each coffee.

Sustainably Grown Coffee

Our coffee is shade-grown and integrated into an agroforestry system, supporting biodiversity and soil health. Practices like bio-char application and rotation cycles help maintain the land for future generations while preserving the ecosystem. Every bean tells a story of sustainable cultivation, responsible management, and respect for its forested environment.

Recognised Around the World

Acacia Hills Coffee is exported to specialty roasters across the globe, with key markets including Asia—such as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan—as well as North America and Europe, including the Netherlands, Spain, and Romania, among others.
